Cliftonville 2-1 Glenavon
JJB Sports Premiership - Friday, 27th February, 2009
CLIFTONVILLE came from a goal down to grab all three points at home to Glenavon and move back into the top six.

Glenavon, still anchored to the bottom of the table, moved in front on 34 minutes against the run of play when Trevor Molloy lobbed Reds 'keeper John Connolly.

However, the Reds levelled on 51 minutes when referee Hugh Carvill awarded a penalty against the visitors following a Mark Gracey handball which Mark Patterson duly converted.

Then, just three minutes, Cliftonville edged into the lead with what proved to be the match winner when Chris Scannell delivered an unstoppable shot into the top corner.
