Donegal Celtic 0-4 Linfield
JJB Sports Irish Cup - Saturday, 16th January, 2010
LINFIELD safely negotiated a place in the sixth round of the JJB Sports Irish Cup with this victory over Donegal Celtic.

Linfield eventually broke the deadlock in first half stoppage time through Paul Munster who met the ball with an overhead kick after Stephen Douglas had knocked the ball into the area.

The Blues doubled their lead on 63 minutes when Daniel Hanna turned the ball over his own line whilst attempting to clear a Peter Thompson effort.

And it was 3-0 just a couple of minutes later courtesy of a back post Billy Joe Burns header.

Jim Ervin completed the scoring a couple of minutes from the break with a penalty into the bottom right hand corner after Jamie Mulgrew had been brought down.
