Crusaders 3-0 Glenavon
Carling Premiership - Saturday, 12th September, 2009
CRUSADERS returned to the top of the Carling Premiership with this convincing defeat of Glenavon at Seaview.

Chris Morrow fired the Crues into the lead after just 11 minutes when he sent Glenavon 'keeper Andrew Plummer the wrong way from the spot after Jay Magee was adjudged to have bundled over David Rainey.

Moments later Willo McDonagh might have levelled when he met an inch perfect Paul Carvill cross only to head it straight at Chris Keenan.

But five minutes into the second half the Crues doubled their advantage when Rainey ran onto a low Gareth McKeown cross from the edge of the box to send the ball past Plummer.

And they made it 3-0 on 64 minutes courtesy of substitute Ryan McCann when he collected a touch from Mark Dickson to send a low shot into the net.
