And neither side seemed capable of stamping their authority on a game which will be instantly forgotten by those in attendance with the Crues, perhaps, enjoying the best of the first half action with half chances from Declan Caddell and Jordan Owens.

The second half promised to be a little more productive when Dean Fitzgerald was denied by a superb Chris Keenan save while Johnny Black saw a 35-yard drive crash back of a Crusaders upright.

Fitzgerald came close for the Glens again later in the half only for Owens to deflect his goalbound effort over from close range before Keenan got down well to stop a Black set piece on the line.

Owens came closest for the Crues right at the end with an unmarked drive from the edge of the area but Elliott Morris proved equal to the challenge. P>
